Server Gated Cryptography
Server Gate Cryptography (SGC) is an extension of the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Due to U.S export law restrictions, SSL supported products with strong encryption capabilities cannot be exported. SGC is designed to circumvent the problem and allows certain online merchant to communicate with their customers securely over the Internet, regardless of where they are.
